Note: The Byte the Bullet event is organized, managed, and sponsored by the FBI Las Vegas Field Office. The FBILVCAAA is proud to support this initiative, but all event selection, invitations, and official communications are handled exclusively by the FBI. BUILDING CRUCIAL PARTNERSHIPS

The yearly Byte the Bullet event is an exclusive opportunity where industry experts are invited by the FBI to meet and greet members of the FBI Cyber Task Force. The vision for this event is to bring together passionate individuals who all have one common goal – preventing and stopping cyber crime.

These networking sessions create valuable connections between the FBI and private sector cybersecurity professionals, fostering collaboration that extends well beyond the event itself. The relationships formed during Byte the Bullet often lead to enhanced information sharing and coordinated responses to cyber threats.

The hope is that these relationships formed will continue beyond the event – relationships that one day may solve big challenges in the cybersecurity landscape.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

Each year, Byte the Bullet features:

  • Expert presentations on emerging cyber threats
  • Interactive workshops and demonstrations
  • Networking opportunities with FBI Cyber Task Force members

This collaborative environment helps bridge the gap between public and private sector efforts in combating cyber threats.

WHY IT MATTERS

Cybersecurity threats continue to grow in sophistication and impact. The FBI recognizes that effective defense requires collaboration across both public and private sectors. Byte the Bullet represents an innovative approach to fostering these essential partnerships.

Through our continued support of this important FBI initiative, the FBILVCAAA helps facilitate these valuable connections between law enforcement and cybersecurity professionals to enhance our nation's digital security posture.

"The most effective weapon against cybercrime is cooperation. When we combine the resources and knowledge of both public and private sectors, we create a formidable defense."

OUR COMMITMENT TO SUPPORTING CYBERSECURITY INITIATIVES

As part of our mission to support the FBI's community outreach efforts, the FBILVCAAA remains committed to assisting programs that facilitate dialogue between cybersecurity professionals and law enforcement. While the Byte the Bullet event is fully managed and sponsored by the FBI, our alumni association is proud to contribute in a supporting role.

We value the opportunity to assist with this important initiative and remain dedicated to supporting the FBI's cybersecurity mission through our volunteer efforts and community engagement.
