    FBILVCAAA FEATURED IN LEXICON BANK COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT

    We are honored to announce that the FBI Las Vegas Citizens Academy Alumni Association has been selected as Lexicon Bank's December 2025 Community Spotlight organization!

    This recognition highlights our mission to build safer Nevada communities through citizen leadership, education, and partnership with the FBI. The feature showcases our programs and the important work our alumni members do as volunteer ambassadors strengthening relationships between law enforcement and the public.

    Lexicon Bank's Community Spotlight series recognizes local nonprofit organizations making a meaningful difference in the Las Vegas Valley. We are grateful to be among the organizations they have chosen to highlight and for their support of our community outreach efforts.

    The spotlight also features information about our upcoming Annual Golf Tournament on December 8, 2025 at Siena Golf Club—our signature fundraising event that powers all of our programs throughout the year.

    FBI Las Vegas Citizens Academy Alumni Association Named 2025 Gold Star Chapter

    We are proud to announce that the FBI Las Vegas Citizens Academy Alumni Association has been recognized as a 2025 Gold Star Chapter for excellence in leadership, operations, and quality performance!

    2025 Gold Star Chapter Award

    The prestigious Gold Star Chapter designation was presented by the FBI National Citizens Academy Alumni Association to our chapter for demonstrating a commitment to achieving the mission and goals of our community outreach partnership with the FBI. This recognition acknowledges the dedication of our board of directors and members in achieving high quality operating standards.

    The award will be announced on June 26, 2025, at the Association's 18th Annual National Leadership Conference in Tampa, Florida.

    "Chapters receiving the Gold Star Chapter designation personify the highest merits of the FBI and the FBI National CAAA," said Valerie Minner, president of the FBI National CAAA.

    This achievement reflects our chapter's unwavering commitment to community outreach, education, and service programs in partnership with the FBI Las Vegas division. As an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization, we work diligently to strengthen relationships between the FBI and the communities it serves.

    We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all our members, volunteers, and the FBI Las Vegas Field Office for their continued support and dedication to our mission.

  • Elder Fraud Awareness Initiative

    The FBI is dedicated to ensuring our senior community stays informed about financial scams. In partnership with the FBI Las Vegas CAAA's 'Fraud Alert' initiative, we're providing educational presentations on elder fraud prevention.

    Our alumni board members helped set up and prepare for this excellent event, raising awareness about elder fraud in our community. The session combined important safety information with an engaging format that participants found both valuable and enjoyable.

  • 2025 Citizens Academy Class

    We're excited to announce the start of the 2025 FBI Las Vegas Citizens Academy class! Last week, Special Agent in Charge Evans welcomed the newest participants to this enriching program.

    The FBI Citizens Academy offers a unique opportunity to strengthen relationships between the FBI and our community. Participants will gain insight into FBI operations while helping our agents better understand the diverse communities we serve.

    Our CAAA members look forward to supporting this year's class throughout their journey. Stay tuned for updates as these community leaders progress through this valuable experience.
