Every holiday season, the FBI Las Vegas Citizens Academy Alumni Association (FBILVCAAA) partners with the FBI Las Vegas Field Office to spread joy and support to those in need through our annual Spirit of Giving campaign. This initiative embodies our commitment to community service and demonstrates how partnerships between law enforcement and community organizations can make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
On Saturday, December 13, 2025, the FBILVCAAA partnered with FBI Las Vegas to bring our annual Spirit of Giving to The Shade Tree—a shelter providing help, healing, and hope to victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, and displaced women, children, and pets. Volunteers distributed self-care items, canned goods, and other necessities to over 50 women and children. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and North Las Vegas Police Department also came out to support the event. Residents enjoyed hands-on forensics activities at an FBI CSI truck, hot cocoa, and photos with Santa—bringing smiles and holiday cheer to families during the season of giving.
The Spirit of Giving initiative has been bringing holiday cheer to vulnerable populations in our community for many years. In 2024, we partnered with the Andre Agassi Boys & Girls Club, collecting gifts for over 80 children and delivering them in a festive FBI caravan—complete with Santa riding in the Bearcat and a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department escort. Through the generous contributions of our alumni members, FBI employees, and community partners, we continue to make a meaningful impact on families facing challenging circumstances each holiday season.
The Spirit of Giving initiative has proudly supported several organizations throughout the years, including:
