FBI OFFICE OF PRIVATE SECTOR

The FBI's Office of Private Sector (OPS) works to strengthen the relationship between the FBI and U.S. businesses to protect our nation's economy and national security. Through strategic partnerships and information sharing, the FBI collaborates with private industry to address critical threats and provide resources to businesses across the United States.

HOW THE FBI WORKS WITH BUSINESSES

Every FBI field office has a Private Sector Coordinator (PSC) who serves as the primary point of contact for businesses. These coordinators help connect private industry with the right FBI resources and personnel, ensuring timely and efficient responses to threats and concerns. The FBI's partnerships with companies like Bridgestone, L3Harris, and UPS demonstrate how PSCs extend resources, provide expertise, and help mitigate threats to businesses nationwide.

The Office of Private Sector (OPS), part of the FBI's Intelligence Branch, oversees these vital engagement efforts. OPS enhances the FBI's understanding of private sector risks and needs while increasing collaboration and information-sharing to address emerging threats through mutually beneficial partnerships.
